So short of living under a literal rock, you’re probably well aware that tumblers with lids are EVERYWHERE.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have access to two of the big guys. My teen daughter is team Stanley, owning 2 of them. More recently, when my Simple Modern was taking a much needed shower in the dishwasher, I borrowed (Thanks B!) a Stanley to get me through. Also, pretty sure these aren’t supposed to go in the DW, but I don’t have time for that life. Also-Yes, I’m team always have water on me…. Ever had a kidney stone? Promise this will lead you to meeting your daily H20 goals 😉

Anyway, dawned on me during this ‘rental’ period which of the 2 I strongly preferred. Simple Modern is king. I said what I said. Deets below.

Leaks
Being accident prone, I can assure you that Simple Modern outperforms in this area. While both products are not 100% sealed, I do think the SM is far more forgiving when tipped upside down, even with straw in place.

Chill Factor
Another area that SM pulls ahead. While I didn’t get scientific on this, I can tell you the SM definitively keeps ice in check for a much longer period.

Light as a Feather
The SM has a MUCH more sleek and lighter weight design. This is exceptionally more apparent when both tumblers are full of ice & water. However, if you’re looking for an auto arm work out, you may consider the Stanley instead here.

Price Point
The SM will set you back about $30 whereas Stanley runs a minimum of $45. You don’t have to know for long to know this was a key point for me. Thrifty is my middle name!
