I LOVED Tswift’s Era Concert movie. Not going to lie makes me more envious I didn’t get to see this tour IRL, but was still a really good time. Even if you’re not team Switfie- you CAN’T argue …….she’s a top notch performer. For $20 its a lot of bang for your buck.

The effects are so cool. You really do feel like you’re in person. Alongside of traveling back in time with her through your own journey. Hearing each album/era- put me back to a unique spot in life. High School. Falling in love. Falling out of love. Having a Baby. Graduating. Randomly placed angst. All of it.

So much reflection tonight (amid lots of singing)- of how Taylor’s been through all of my ‘eras’ right along with hers. Even more cool that I got to see tonight’s show with two of my best friends who have literally been through all these stages. Love you Beth and Meagan!

Thinking back to where I was last October when Midnights released to where I’m at a year later…. It should’ve been a sign that I was instantly enamored with “You’re On Your Own Kid”. I rarely if EVER like a song the first time I hear it. Such a SPOT on tune.

Cause there were pages turned with the bridges burned

So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it

Sometimes you really have to uproot your whole being to make room for bigger, better things.

TLDR; I effing love Taylor Swift. I love my people. Go see the show. I’m really proud of my Midnights era. I hope you are too!
